Our Scars are like shining stars that God can use to bring wholeness, to lift and bring hope to others" 〰️
And just when I felt I was going to fall into the abyss, you reached out your hand and caught me. You are faithful Lord, not forgetting who you are, what you have done for us and continue to do, “you never let the righteous fall”. You are the great I AM, the healer, deliverer, promise keeper. The greatest light that shines brightly into the darkest places.
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” 29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:28-31)
It might feel like you are drowning and trying to stay afloat once you begin to sink, then you suddenly get a strength that cannot be explained, you have prayed and clung to Jesus, letting the truth of His word fill your mind and again you manage to stay on top of the water, for he who has promised is faithful. “I will never let you go.
Hebrews 13:5 in the Amplified Bible puts it this way: “He [God] Himself has said, I won't in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!].” What an amazing truth that is when we can grasp it and hold onto it when the waters feel like they are crashing around us. Christ our deliverer yet again brings us up, each time this is strengthening our faith, healing our minds, and refreshing our souls. Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you” (Isaiah 43:2, NKJV).
