God shows us in His word how we are to live, he has provided everything we need for Life and Godliness. His word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. He has shown us how much he loves us by giving us Jesus Christ, our savior and blessed assurance, he is the way maker. He shows us the way. I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go I will counsel you with my eye on you. (Psalm 32:8).
We keep sowing. “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow” (1 Corinthians 3:6). The Parable of the Sower. "This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
Growing in the Lord. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. (Hebrews 5:12-14). He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion. God has done his Part, he took our place on the Cross, and conquered sin, death and the grave. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and proclaimed freedom for the prisoners. Our part is to believe His word, receive it by faith and walk out our purpose. Through a constant daily walk and intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father and being lead by the Holy Spirit, having our minds renewed by the Word of God.
Flowing. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:38)
